New Breed of Hairless Dogs.

Bald truth about dogsAnne Campbell - Thursday, March 2, 2006

A dog lover prevented from keeping pets by a hair allergy has been saved – after breeding five bald pooches.
These dogs have changed my life
Michael Daniels always wanted a dog of his own but broke out in a rash and suffered fits of sneezing if he went near anything furry.
After years of searching, he stumbled across the American hairless terrier.
Mr Daniels imported a dog and a bitch from the US and set about breeding pups for fellow allergy sufferers.
And the result is Britain's first litter of five hairless pups – four males and one female.
The 34-year-old, of Romford, Essex, said:'Living with allergies has restricted my choice of pets, but these dogs have changed my life.'
His bald initiative has worked – all five pups have been snapped up.
