When Tekle Zigetta tried to pass off counterfeit money he forgot one thing – there is no such thing as a $1billion note.Police investigating the 45-year-old found 250 of the fake notes in his Hollywood apartment in January.
Tekle has pleaded guilty to trying to bring cash, phoney notes and a fake $100,000 gold certificate into the US.
'You would think the $1billion denomination would be a giveaway that they are fake. But some people are still taken in,'said a secret services agent.
